There are also quarterly membership options so you can join from 1 Oct-31 Dec and/or 1 Jan-31 March if you prefer.
Mana Amateur Athletic Club organises and supports track and field events from October through to April.
When you register, you will be eligible for any track & field events organised under the jurisdiction of Athletics New Zealand, including Colgate Games (up to age 14), Wellington Rep Teams, and international events until 31st March 2026.
The age you are as of 31 December 2025 is the age group you will compete in for the entire season.
For example, if you are 8 at the start of the season in October, and turn 9 in February, you will compete in the 8-year-old age group for the entire season.
Or, if you are 8 at the start of the season but turn 9 in December, you will compete in the 9-year-old age group for the entire season.
We use Athletics New Zealand’s registration system, GameDay. Here are a few things you will need to know:
If you don’t already have one from last season, you will need to register a profile using an email address of your choice.
If needed, you can have a different phone number and email contact address for each athlete
A family discount is automatically applied when 3 or more athletes are registered at the same time under the same user profile
The system has an option to make a donation to the club, but of course this totally voluntary. NB: The club does have a policy outlining what we use donations for.
All payments are made online

Uniform
Club uniforms are available to purchase HERE. Singlets cost $30 and tees are $35. There is also a second-hand uniform swap page in the ‘Event’ section of our Facebook page HERE.
As well as t-shirts and singlets, we have awesome Mana Hoodies!!! Stay warm on club nights and wear them with pride at competitions. Hoodies can be purchased at any point throughout the season. They’re good quality, they look awesome, and they’re a great deal at just $60.
We also have Mana Bucket Hats in Adults and Kids sizes - $17.50
Mana Minis - 4-6 Years Old
By using Athletics NZ’s Get Set Go programme, our Mana Minis group is designed to help kids enjoy being active through play and sport. It uses fun and developmentally appropriate activities to build and develop basic fundamental movement skills.
Registration Fee is $76 full season or $41 for 1/4 season.
Junior Athletes 7 - 14 Years Old
Whether a social athlete, participating for fun, or wanting to grow and develop skills and speed, this age group will benefit from attending club nights and interclub events.
Registration Fee $110 for full season or $66 for quarter season.
Senior Athletes 15 Years +
Senior athletes competing for school and/or club have access to training squads and opportunities that will improve technique, speed, fitness and prepare them for competition.
VOLUNTEERS - We need you to register too! Click here and choose the option ‘club volunteer/club only membership’ (NB: you will need to create your own GameDay profile).
Registration Fee
15-19 Year olds $140 full season or $66 for quarter season.
20 Years+ $170 full season.
Registrations includes entry fees for Central League meets.
Refund Policy
An athlete needs to be a registered and fully paid member of Mana Athletics in order to attend our club nights and to compete in events organised by Athletics New Zealand and Athletics Wellington.
We are happy for athletes to attend a club night as a trial before committing.
Refunds are not usually given for a change of mind.
Refunds are at the discretion of the Committee and are considered on a case by case basis.
